BACKCOUNTRY SKI LODGE
A modular, mass timber ski lodge in the backcountry of British Columbia, the sculpted volume provides off-grid shelter for up to a dozen people, with views out to the snowy landscape. Exploring the spatial and tectonic capacities of using CLT as a volumetric shell, the experimental project using prefabricated elements was designed to be built within one offseason construction year.
